Boys Varsity Basketball loses to Garber 30-65

GARBER HIGH SCHOOL: 65
Birch Run Boys varsity team gave it's best effort against a hot-shooting Essexville Garber team on Friday, but lost 65-30, though they were in it much of the game. Birch Run was down 8-13 after the 1st quarter, and going into halftime was down by 7, (17-24). Garber stretched their lead to 15 points in the 3rd quarter (21- 36). The Panthers had good looks at the rim, but the shots wouldn't fall. Jaxon Martinus led the team with 13 points. Connor Mausolf had 9 rebounds, and Trent Dalak had 6 deflections. Our next games is vs. Alma home Monday @ 7:00.
