Birch Run varsity boys battled Swan Valley Friday, and despite falling behind in the first quarter 13 to 2 out-scored Swan Valley in the 2nd quarter 17 to 8. The Vikings still held a 2-point edge (21-19) going into halftime, and had a run- putting them up by 15 points In the middle of the 3rd quarter. Birch Run Panthers fought hard in the 4th, but the 15 point Viking lead was too much to over come. Wyatt Stevens lead BR in scoring and rebounding with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Jaxon Martinus had a team-high 4 assists with 10 points. Keegan Hale led with 5 steals and dished out 3 assists; Trent Dalak had 2 blocked shots with 7 rebounds.Gage Martinus led the Panthers with 6 deflections. 

The Panthers next game is hone on Tuesday vs. Alma @ 7:00 PM.
