Birch Run boys lost to neighboring Frankenmuth 52-29 Tuesday. Our intensity level did not show up to start the game. We trailed 22 -7 after the1st quarter, and were outscored in the 2nd quarter 10 to 2- taking us to a 32-9  halftime score. In general it was a frustrating half.  Each team scored 20 points in the second half however, and after committing 12 turnovers in the first half, the Panthers cut their turnovers to 5 in the second. Mason Mellott led the team with 8 points, Gage Martinus had 6 rebounds, and Jaxon Martinus had 4 assists. We have our last home game on Friday vs. Essexville Garber.
