Birch Run lost to visiting Swan Valley 68-46 Friday night. Shooting woes, turnovers, and missed free-throws cost us the game. The team played hard, but shot only 38.7% from the 2 point range, 25% on 3 pointers, had 26 turnovers, and went 10-33 from the free throw line. It was disappointing because Swan Valley was a beatable team, and we had our hopes high. But, for whatever reason we weren't hitting our shots. We will regroup and work hard at putting a better total game together before we travel to play Frankenmuth on Tuesday. Christian Stebner led the team with 11 points and 4 steals. Gage Martinus grabbed 13 rebounds and had 4 assists to lead the team in those categories.
