NORTH BRANCH AREA HIGH SCHOOL: 54
Birch Run varsity boys came out flat against host North Branch Tuesday losing 54 to 43. We picked up the momentum late in the 3rd quarter when we were down by 15 points, and in the 4th quarter cut the deficit to 8 points -but couldn't get any closer. The boys played hard right to the end, but we have to be ready and focused before the game and throughout to be competitive. Gage Martinus finished with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Jaxon Martinus had 5 assists.
